John Watters is the Founding Director of Living Leadership and a Facilitator with the Center for Courage & Renewal.
John brings deep expertise and depth of experience in the fields of systems change, inner development, group dynamics, evolving cultures and developing leadership capacity.
John has worked across organisations of every size and sector in the UK and internationally in USA, China, Malayasia, India, Vietnam, Jordan, Dubai, Singapore and Europe.
Clients and colleagues describe John’s way of working as inspiring, courageous, robust, fun, challenging and warm-hearted.
Prior to establishing Living Leadership in 2005, John worked as a consultant with PwC for eight years, establishing a practice with an innovative focus: working with public sector organisations in crisis to catalyse systems change through small, focused interventions rather than large-scale programmes. Early in his career, John worked in both general management and public health in the National Health Service in England.
John has three degrees: a Master’s degree in Change Agent Skills and Strategies (personal, team and organisational change) from the University of Surrey; a second Master’s degree in Health Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine; and an undergraduate honours degree in Business Studies from the University of Edinburgh.
John draws on a wide network of close and trusted associates as client needs require. He also partners with specialist and larger consultancies, where greater diversity, scale or geographical coverage is needed.
